A teenager who instigated an unprovoked attack on American tourist Stephen Termini in Dublin in July 2023 was sentenced to 20 months in detention. The 17-year-old, who pleaded guilty to assault causing harm, initiated the attack on Termini, who was "minding his own business," while two other teens, previously sentenced, participated. Termini stated the attack "altered [his] life completely".
