Electric vehicle sales in the UK increased by 41.7%, accounting for 24.7% of new registrations, driven by demand ahead of a new tax on expensive cars. While Tesla sales fell in Europe and China, UK sales remained resilient, suggesting limited impact from Musk's controversies.
