From Barcelona to Granada, the Spanish National Statistics Institute has shared the country's cheapest and most expensive hotel stays



A report by the Spanish National Statistics Institute reveals the cheapest and most expensive hotel destinations in Spain. In January 2025, the Costa del Sol (Marbella) was the most expensive (€303/night), while Zaragoza was among the cheapest (€74/night, or €50 for a three-star hotel). The Balearic Islands have historically been most expensive in July, but recently, May has seen the highest prices. Hotel prices across Spain rose 6.1% year-on-year, averaging €112 per night in January 2025. British travelers made up the largest proportion of tourists in Spain in January 2025.
