The ‘final turning point’ that helped Kym Marsh quit smoking for good

Kym Marsh quit smoking for her family, citing her father's cardiac arrest and her desire to be healthy for her children and grandchildren as motivators. She successfully quit after 25 years with support from her GP, the NHS Stoptober campaign, and by changing social habits. Marsh also replaced smoking with fitness and healthy activities to avoid weight gain and manage cravings. She's now encouraging others to quit in an NHS film for No Smoking Day.
