The Greater Manchester school set to double in size with £7.5m expansion

It includes a huge three-storey extension and space for more pupils

Aim Habonim, a special educational needs school in Salford, plans a £7.5 million expansion to increase its size from 1,500 to 3,400 square meters, allowing pupil numbers to rise from 75 to 125. The project includes a three-story extension, refurbishment, and new facilities like a hydrotherapy pool and sensory rooms. The expansion is divided into two phases, with construction set to begin next year. The school, which serves Jewish children with severe disabilities, also offers childcare and early years provision.
