A new garden outside Oldham's Old Library will also become a new site for the town's festivities.
Oldham is set to gain a new outdoor venue, featuring a community garden outside the Old Library, approved for events like live music, festivals, and the Illuminate Light Night. The venue will host major events such as Oldham Pride, Festival Oldham, Khushi Festival, and Oldham Live. The multi-million-pound project transforms the Old Library into a mixed-use space, including a town hall, offices, and a gallery. The garden will serve as the library's main entrance with a wheelchair-friendly ramp, and 47 new trees will replace 12 existing ones.
