Three wildfires in North and South Carolina have burned over 3,300 acres, prompting a state of emergency declaration in South Carolina and mandatory evacuations in Polk County, North Carolina. The Black Cove and Deep Woods fires in Polk County are uncontained, while the Fish Hook fire is 50% contained. The Table Rock fire in Pickens County, South Carolina is also uncontained. Both states have issued burn bans.
