Tonight's rugby news includes the sentencing of France international rugby player Mohamed Haouas to three months in prison for drunk driving. Haouas, a Montpellier prop, was found asleep at the wheel of his vehicle in December 2024 with a blood alcohol level of 1.8G per litre. This follows previous convictions, including 18 months in prison in 2022 for group theft and burglary, and another 18 months for aggravated assault and domestic violence in 2023.
