Toronto radio host who quit job to run in federal election loses riding

A former Toronto sports radio host appears likely to return to the media world after a brief foray into politics.On Monday, ex-Sportsnet and current Corus radio host Greg Brady found himself finishing second in his first run at public office.Back in March, Brady announced that he was temporarily stepping down from his role at AM 640 Toronto's Toronto Today with Greg Brady show to seek a seat in Parliament in Ajax for the Conservative Party of Canada.With 225 of 226 polls reporting as per CTV, Brady picked up 39.2 per cent of the votes, or 25,502, finishing behind Liberal candidate and current deputy mayor of Toronto Jennifer McKelvie, who picked up 36,583 to win 56.2 per cent of the vote."Our team was tireless and fantastic.
