Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu (TÜİK), Şubat ayı işsizlik rakamlarını açıkladı. Buna göre; İşsizlik oranı ise 0,7 puan azalarak %8,7 seviyesinde gerçekleşti. İşsizlik oranı erkeklerde %7,1 iken kadınlarda %11,8 olarak tahmin edildi.
In 2024, Türkiye's unemployment rate decreased to 8.7%, the lowest in 12 years. The number of unemployed individuals fell by 151,000 to 3,113,000. Employment increased by 988,000 to 32,620,000, with the employment rate rising to 49.5%. The labor force grew by 837,000 to 35,733,000, and the labor force participation rate reached 54.2%. Youth unemployment decreased to 16.3%. The service and construction sectors saw increased employment share, while the industrial sector's share decreased. Employment increased across all sectors, with the service sector experiencing the largest growth. The underutilized labor force rate rose to 26.7%.
