Trump administration officials, including the defense secretary, accidentally shared Yemen war plans with The Atlantic's editor-in-chief via a secure messaging app. The National Security Council confirmed the authenticity of the text chain. Trump initially claimed ignorance of the breach, later downplaying it as a minor issue.
