Donald Trump's media group and video platform Rumble have filed a lawsuit against Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes, alleging he violated the free speech rights of a far-right Brazilian influencer residing in the U.S. The lawsuit, filed in Tampa, Florida, accuses Moraes of issuing gag orders that forced Rumble to block the influencer's accounts and prevent new accounts from being created, with penalties for non-compliance. The influencer, identified as "Political Dissident A," fled Brazil in 2021 after facing charges for spreading information labeled as disinformation by Moraes. The lawsuit was filed hours after Moraes received an indictment against former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, a Trump ally, who faces charges including involvement in a coup attempt. The lawsuit seeks to declare Moraes's orders unenforceable in the U.S.
