Two men, Cory Dove and Matthew Steward, both 26 from Harwich, Essex, died in a quad bike crash with a minibus during a Turkish holiday in May 2024. The inquest in Chelmsford heard that the crash occurred as the quad bike entered the bus's lane on a winding road. The bus driver, traveling at 30km/h, was not prosecuted. Post-mortem exams revealed traumatic injuries, with toxicology tests showing no substances affecting their condition. The coroner noted the investigation lacked a detailed forensic analysis.
