Elvir Koljic, a 29-year-old footballer, has signed a contract with Rapid until June 2026. The transfer was valued at 100,000 euros according to Transfermarkt. He was close to joining FCSB but ultimately chose Rapid. Mircea Rednic, the coach of UTA Arad, expressed frustration, stating that Mihai Rotaru mishandled the transfer. Rednic mentioned that UTA almost secured Koljic but he ended up at Rapid. He also criticized Rotaru for acquiring Jovan Markovic for free from Oțelul while seeking payment from UTA for Koljic.
