Yisroel Liebb is suing United Airlines and the Department of Homeland Security, alleging that a United pilot forcibly removed him from an airplane bathroom on a flight from Tulum to Houston, exposing him to other passengers. Liebb, who is Orthodox Jewish, claims the pilot broke the lock after he was in the bathroom for about 20 minutes due to constipation. The lawsuit further alleges the pilot made antisemitic remarks and threatened arrest. Liebb was later detained upon landing. United Airlines declined to comment.
