In March 2025, the US imported over two million barrels of jet fuel from Nigeria's Dangote refinery, confirming the refinery's product quality. Six vessels already delivered approximately 1.7 million barrels, with another shipment of 348,000 barrels expected. The refinery, with a 650,000 barrel-per-day capacity, previously exported jet fuel to Saudi Arabia and could potentially challenge domestic US fuel producers.
