US opens new missile testing site to ensure arsenal 'remains ready for action' amid fears of WWIII

The US Army officially opened a new missile testing site in Oklahoma last week. The site will ensure the military's HAWK missile systems are ready for action.

The U.S. Army has unveiled the Theater Readiness Monitoring Facility (TRMF) at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant in Oklahoma to test the HAWK missile system, ensuring it remains operational against threats like drones and bombers. The facility uses non-destructive methods, such as X-rays, to inspect missiles without disassembly. Since 2025, it has tested over 2,751 missiles, including contributions from six other countries. The HAWK system is vital for protecting lives and deterring aggression. Concurrently, the U.S. conducted a hypersonic missile test, underscoring its commitment to a robust nuclear deterrent amid global tensions.
