A 33-year-old man, Menelaos Christodoulides, died of smoke inhalation in a Limassol house fire, confirmed by autopsy. The fire occurred in his bedroom, filled with electrical appliances, after a power cut. His brother found him unconscious, and a fire erupted when the room was exposed to oxygen. The victim had been injured in a motorcycle accident two years prior.
