A Romanian Air Force Spartan aircraft is assisting in extinguishing forest fires in Caraș-Severin county. The aircraft has completed two missions, dropping 5,000 liters of water each time. The fires, likely started by people burning vegetation, have spread across dozens of hectares in 17 localities. Firefighters are facing difficulties due to the terrain, and are supported by locals and volunteers. An investigation into the fires has been started.
