Two illegal immigrants escaped from an ICE detention facility in Aurora, Colorado, during a power outage on March 18. ICE is searching for the men and has alerted state and federal law enforcement. One of the men, Vido-Romero, was awaiting deportation to Venezuela after being arrested on charges in the Castle Rock area. The Aurora Police Department is available to assist with public safety emergencies but does not enforce federal immigration law.
