Volaris will launch direct flights from San Luis Potosí International Airport (SLP) to Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio, Texas, starting in July 2025. The flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays using Airbus A220 aircraft with a capacity of 186 passengers. Additionally, Delta Airlines, in partnership with Aeroméxico, will introduce a new nonstop route between SLP and Atlanta. SLP’s airport will also see new domestic routes to Querétaro and Monterrey, operated by TAR Aerolíneas. The state’s expanded air connectivity underscores its development as a key hub for trade, investment, and global mobility. San Luis Potosí, known for its historical and natural attractions, aims to enhance its status as a tourist and business destination.
