Wasalauf: Langläufer Alvar Myhlback mit 18 Jahren jüngster Sieger des Wasalaufs

Alvar Myhlback, an 18-year-old Swedish skier, became the youngest winner of the Wasalauf, breaking a record that stood for 103 years. The previous youngest winner was Ernst Alm, who won the first edition in 1922 at age 22. Myhlback won the 90-kilometer race using classical technique, finishing ahead of fellow Swedes Emil Persson and Max Novak in the final sprint. The event attracted 15,800 participants, including notable figures like Johan Elmander and Marcus Wandt.
