Crufts was plunged into a bitter row after dog handler Giovanni Liguori, 30, and his four-year-old whippet Miuccia, from Venice, Italy, scooped the top prize at the NEC Arena, in Birmingham.
The owner of Miuccia, a whippet from Venice that won Best in Show at Crufts 2025, defended the win after viewers claimed the Jack Russell Ana was "robbed." The owner stated that the judge chose the most correct dog according to the standard.
