A family member of victims of the 2022 Creeslough explosion stated she and others will boycott any shop built on the site where ten people died, after Donegal County Council granted permission for a new service station despite objections from bereaved families. The new plan includes a memorial garden. The family feels a full memorial garden would have been more appropriate.
