The 2025 World Happiness Report ranks Finland as the happiest country for the eighth consecutive year, followed by other Nordic countries. The Netherlands re-entered the top 5, while Costa Rica and Mexico made the top 10 for the first time. Switzerland dropped to 13th place, Austria to 17th, and Germany improved to 22nd. The report, released annually on March 20th, considers factors like economic performance, health, freedom, generosity, and corruption perception.
