WFH City analyst made £1m from insider dealing scheme, court told

A former City analyst, Redinel Korfuzi, allegedly made nearly £1 million through insider dealing while working from home during the pandemic. He and his sister, Oerta Korfuzi, along with two others, are charged with conspiracy to commit insider dealing and money laundering between 2019 and 2021. Prosecutors claim the scheme was facilitated by Korfuzi's ability to operate undetected due to remote work. The trial at Southwark Crown Court involves profits of around £963,000 from trading in 11 companies' shares. The siblings and co-defendants have pleaded not guilty.
