Everything you need to know ahead of the annual race
The 2025 London Marathon will be held on Sunday, April 27th. The elite wheelchair races begin at 8:50 AM, the elite women's race at 9:05 AM, and the elite men's race followed by the mass start at 9:35 AM. The route is largely unchanged since 1981, passing landmarks such as the Cutty Sark, Tower Bridge, and the Tower of London, finishing on The Mall. The elite fields include Olympic and Paralympic champions, the 2024 London Marathon winners, and debutant triathlete Alex Yee. Over 56,000 runners are expected to participate.
