FIFA is now hiring for jobs at Toronto games but there's a catch
The application process has begun for jobs at the FIFA World Cup in 2026 — but, these are volunteer positions.Approximately 65,000 volunteers will be hired before the World Cup kicks off on June 11, with open gigs available in the three host countries: Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.Vancouver and Toronto are among the 16 host cities, meaning FIFA is looking for a large number of volunteers in those two Canadian locales."Volunteers will provide support across 23 functional areas at official and non-official sites such as stadiums, training sites, airports, hotels and more," FIFA said in a media release.Those selected must commit to eight shifts between June 11 and July 19, 2026.
