On March 8, 2025, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin announced the opening of the longest above-ground pedestrian crossing (over 315 meters) along the Novoyegoryevskoye Highway exit onto the inner side of the MKAD. The crossing, part of a transport interchange at the intersection of MKAD and Verkhniye Polya Street, consists of four stair-towers with elevators.
