Alex Marlow with PragerU’s Dr. Paul Kengor: 'The New York Times Created Castro'

Political science professor, author, and PragerU presenter Dr. Paul Kengor explained how the New York Times assisted the rise of Cuba's communist dictator Fidel Castro through its glowing coverage of him. The post Alex Marlow with PragerU’s Dr. Paul Kengor: ‘The New York Times Created Castro’ appeared first on Breitbart.

In a Breitbart interview, Dr. Paul Kengor stated that the New York Times' favorable coverage, particularly Herbert Matthews' reporting, significantly aided Fidel Castro's rise to power in Cuba. Kengor highlighted that Matthews' article, which presented Castro as anti-communist, revitalized Castro's movement when it was near collapse. Kengor also claimed both Castro and Che Guevara wanted to use nuclear weapons during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Marlow added that Democratic policies led to the rise of Cambodian dictator Pol Pot.
