Alliance Pharma agrees £362m takeover by biggest shareholder

The deal will see shareholders get 64.75p a share, up from the original offer worth 62.5p a share, or £349.7 million.



Alliance Pharma has agreed to a £362 million takeover by its largest shareholder, DBay Advisors, at 64.75p a share, a 46% premium to the share price before the initial offer. The board recommends the deal, supported by second-largest shareholder Slater Investments. Investors will vote on the deal, aiming for completion in the first half of the year.
