Andrew Tate, facing rape and trafficking charges in Romania, heads for Florida on private jet
Andrew and Tristan Tate, facing rape and human trafficking charges in Romania, arrived in Florida after a travel ban was lifted. Florida's governor, Ron DeSantis, stated they are not welcome in the state. The Tates' spokesperson stated that some assets were returned to the brothers. The Tates' were let go because there are no active indictments and the case was dismissed on December 19 in Romania. The Romanian anti-organised crime agency approved a request to modify the obligation preventing the defendants from leaving Romania. Four women who have accused Tate of rape and coercive control are retraumatized by the news that the Romanian authorities have allowed Andrew Tate to travel. The Dublin Rape Crisis Centre (DRCC) warned that the release of Andrew and Tristan Tate to the US sends a negative message to women.
