A man in his 60s was extradited from Northern Ireland to Co. Donegal to face multiple sex assault and rape charges alleged to have occurred between 1990 and 2000. He appeared in Letterkenny District Court and was remanded in custody. He faces nine outstanding arrest warrants. The accused made a range of replies including “I wasn’t down there then”, “I wasn’t there”, “I wasn’t there in ’93”, “wasn’t down there in ’93.”. A publication order on the man's identity was issued.
