As federal election looms, Liberals trail other parties in nominating candidates

With a federal election looming, the Liberal Party trails other parties in nominating candidates, having nominated 184 out of 343 needed, while Conservatives have 275, NDP 217, and Greens 208. This is partly due to a recent leadership change and increased interest in running following improved polling numbers under new leader Mark Carney.
