The 62-year-old actor, who plays Ethan Hunt in the Mission Impossible series, will also introduce a screening of one of the franchise’s films.
The BFI is holding a season of Tom Cruise films at BFI Southbank and BFI Imax in London throughout May, following Cruise's BFI fellowship award. Cruise will attend an in-conversation event on May 21 and introduce a Mission Impossible film chosen by a public vote. The season, curated by Kimberley Sheehan, will include screenings of films like Top Gun, Eyes Wide Shut, and The Last Samurai, as well as a Mission Impossible marathon.
