British holidaymakers hit with passport price increases with government set to hike application fees in weeks

UK passport fees are set to increase by 7% on April 10th, with online adult applications rising to £94.50 and postal applications to £107. The Home Office cites rising manufacturing and processing costs as the reason for the increase, while holidaymakers rush to renew passports before the new fees take effect.
