During Engineers Week 2025, 800 students from 32 schools in Galway explored ocean energy potential through an online event hosted by Galway Education Centre. The event launched the Marine Institute's "Renewable Ocean Energy – The Power of the Future" educational resource, highlighting the importance of ocean energy for a sustainable future and showcasing innovative engineering solutions inspired by nature.
