California governor urges Canadians to visit state despite U.S. tensions

Amid U.S.-Canada tensions, California's governor is inviting Canadians and assuring a warm, touristy welcome thousands of miles away from U.S. President Donald Trump.On April 14, Governor Gavin Newsom shared a video on social media in which he said that the Golden State and Canada "have always shared so much in common," and that California is launching a new tourism campaign to urge Canadians to visit."Sure, you-know-who's trying to stir things up in D.C.," he says in the 33-second video.
