Canada will continue funding Jordan's Principle, which supports First Nations children's access to health, social, and educational services, through 2026. Since 2016, $8.8 billion has been invested, approving over 8.9 million requests. The government is reviewing contribution agreements and has narrowed the scope of eligible expenses, leading to concerns from some First Nations chiefs about service cutbacks.
