Canadian Food Inspection Agency suspends license of Calgary breastmilk company

Without its license, the company cannot operate, but there is no recall on existing products

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) suspended Booby Food's Safe Food for Canadians license on March 5 due to regulatory violations concerning import/export, sanitation, and the Food and Drug Act. The Calgary-based breastmilk freeze-drying company has 90 days to implement corrective measures or risk license cancellation. The company cannot operate without its license.
