This is the third arrest made at the Coutts border for drugs and weapons since September
The CBSA seized 108 kg of cocaine from a commercial transport vehicle at the Coutts border crossing. Calgary resident Arshdeep Singh, 26, is charged with importing and possessing a controlled substance for trafficking. This is the fourth arrest for drugs and weapons at the Coutts border since September. Previous seizures at the Coutts border include methamphetamine, cocaine, and an illegal handgun.
