The Kansas City Chiefs released wide receiver Xavier Worthy after a Texas district attorney declined to pursue charges against him related to an arrest for felony domestic violence. Worthy, drafted 28th overall last year, was accused of assaulting a family member. Worthy's attorneys claim the accusation was made by a woman who was asked to leave his home. Worthy had a productive rookie season with the Chiefs.
