Child abuse survivor from Perthshire to run marathon in aid of children's charity

Nial Mackinlay, a 62-year-old child abuse survivor from Perthshire and former Edinburgh Academy pupil, is running the London Marathon for the NSPCC. Abused at school in the 1970s, he was inspired by Nicky Campbell's public disclosure of similar abuse. Mackinlay aims to raise funds for services like Childline and abuse prevention programs. The NSPCC emphasizes the importance of voluntary donations for their services. Contact information for Childline and the NSPCC helpline is provided.
