Competition watchdog sets out ‘concerns’ over Ticketmaster’s Oasis sale

The CMA said it had not found evidence that Ticketmaster used an algorithmic pricing model during the Oasis offer.



The CMA is concerned that Ticketmaster misled Oasis fans by labeling standard seated tickets as "platinum" and selling them at significantly higher prices without adequate explanation of the lack of additional benefits. The CMA wants Ticketmaster to change its ticket labeling and pricing disclosure practices.
