Crombie says she won’t ask any Ontario Liberals to step aside so she can have a seat

The PC candidate defeated her in Mississauga East-Cooksville by 1,210 votes

Ontario Liberal Leader Bonnie Crombie, who failed to win a seat in the recent election, stated she will not ask any current Liberal MPPs to resign to create a seat for her. She intends to find a seat at "the right time" and will lead the party from outside the legislature for now. While the Liberals gained seats, they remained in third place.
