Dolphins welcome Nasa’s stuck astronauts as they return home to Earth

Dolphins were among the first to greet Nasa astronauts Sunita “Suni” Williams and Barry “Butch” Wilmore as they returned to Earth on Tuesday, 18 March, following an unexpected nine additional months on board the International Space Station.



Dolphins greeted NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Barry Wilmore upon their return to Earth on March 18th after an unexpected nine-month extension on the International Space Station. They returned in a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft with Nick Hague and Aleksandr Gorbunov, after technical issues delayed their initial return.
