Andrew Robert John McElhinney, 59, of Dunfanaghy, was sentenced to 11 years in prison after being found guilty of sexually abusing two teenage girls over 25 years ago. He was convicted on multiple counts, including sexual assault and rape, in relation to one girl, and sexual assault of a second girl. The abuse occurred while the girls were staying at McElhinney’s house to help care for his children.
