DWP disability benefits of up to £434 per month for people with sight loss

Attendance Allowance is a dedicated disability benefit for those over the State Pension age. It's currently providing extra financial support to over 1.6 million people across Great Britain.

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) offers disability benefits, including Attendance Allowance and Personal Independence Payment (PIP), to support individuals with sight loss. Attendance Allowance, a tax-free benefit for those over State Pension age, provides up to £434 per month to help with daily tasks. PIP supports around 59,000 working-age adults with vision impairments. Both benefits cover a range of eye conditions, helping individuals maintain independence. Applications can be made through the GOV.UK website.
