A detention center with evidence of torture and a mass grave containing at least 550 bodies were discovered at a former RSF military base north of Khartoum. Survivors described torture, starvation, and deaths of fellow inmates. Medical examinations confirmed signs of torture and malnutrition among rescued civilians. Satellite imagery confirms the graves appeared after the war began and the RSF occupied the base. Human Rights Watch suggests the site could represent a major war crime.
