Senator Tom Cotton introduced the Woke Endowment Security Tax (WEST) Act, proposing a 6% excise tax on endowments of 11 universities with large endowments to pay down the national debt and secure the southern border. He also proposed the No Student Loans for Campus Criminals Act, preventing convicted campus protestors from receiving federal student loans or relief.
